Chipmunks

 

 Lively and speedy critters, chipmunks are small members of the squirrel family. Their pudgy cheeks, large, glossy eyes, stripes, and bushy tails have made them a favorite among animators, and landed them a series of starring roles in Hollywood.

 In most home landscapes, the chipmunk is not going to be considered a pest, but rather a cute little member of the family. It is only when the chipmunk population gets too numerous and when damage to your plants is obviously caused by the critters that they shift their status from family to pest.

Therefore we suggest that your strategy in dealing with chipmunks should be to reduce the current population to a level where you can again live together on the same property in harmony. We believe that aggravating enough chipmunks using multiple repellents is preferable to killing them. But the choice is yours. To aggravate them you need to insult three or more of their basic senses (taste, smell, sight, sound, etc.) changing the target sense every two or three weeks. If for three weeks they are hit with a bad smell repellent, and then two weeks later, just as they are getting used to the smell you hit them with a bad taste repellent, they can become aggravated. Alternate taste and smell, or go with taste, smell, and a repellent with a burning sensation.

I like Chipmunks because they are cute, energetic members of the rodent family. It's fun to watch them race across the yard or stuff their cheeks with peanuts.

I've seen chipmunks stuffing even green strawberries into their cheeks. They run out of my strawberry patch with their cheeks full and leave none for me.

Ambiguous Sentences

1.     1.   "Did you see the girl with the telescope?"

The two possible interpretations are as follows:

 "Did you see the girl who is holding the telescope?"

      "Did you see the girl by using the telescope?"

2.      2.  The lady hit the man with an umbrella. (Is the lady using an umbrella to hit or is she hitting a man who is carrying an umbrella?)

3.       3. He gave her cat food. (Is he giving cat food to her or is he giving her cat some food?)

4.      4.  They are looking for teachers of French, German and Japanese. (Are they looking for teachers who can each teach one language or all three languages?)

My memorable FIRST TERM/SEMESTER/SEMBREAK :)

 1st day in class... I never felt this before, a feeling like it's a kind of a little bit excited and a little bit afraid or shall I say it MIXED EMOTIONS. It's not too difficult for me to adjust because I have my best friend and a buddy since high school that has a same choice of course like mine. It's easier for me to gain new friends because everyone is nice to me. College is a gateway to pursue our career and to make new beginnings.

Weeks has passed and everything seems fine to me. I met a circle of friends and it is easier for me to trust them because from the beginning, we shared secrets and experiences. We helped each other in times of trouble and share our laughs and smiles in times of happiness. First semester is not too difficult nor too easy for me but with the help of my family and friends, It made me too easy to accomplish my first term. Many students don't like our group but we mange to be humble and stay as we are. 

Months came and unfortunately the first semester has ended and semestral break has already started. I'm super excited for the reason that our family will be having a reunion and all my nephews and nieces will come. We celebrated the 60th birthday of our mother and it is the most special and memorable event that has happened on my SEMBREAK.
